ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to own our Selenium/Python test infrastructure and cover both frontend and backend layers of our web platform. You'll also be a key voice as we grow our AI-assisted testing practice — we're early in that journey and want someone excited to help shape it, using Claude and GitHub Copilot that are already part of our daily workflow.

* 5+ years writing automation tests with Selenium and Python
* Solid experience testing web applications — both frontend UI flows and backend API/service layers
* Comfortable with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket or similar)
* REST API testing using Requests, Pytest, or Postman
* Ability to write clear, maintainable test plans and document coverage across releases
* SQL for database state verification in end-to-end tests
AI TOOLS — DAY ONE SKILLS
These are tools we already use. We expect you to be productive with them from the start.
* Claude (Anthropic) — experience using Claude as a coding and testing assistant, including working with Claude agents to automate multi-step QA workflows such as test generation, triage, or maintenance tasks
* GitHub Copilot — day-to-day use for writing, completing, and reviewing test code
* Prompt engineering basics — crafting effective prompts to generate test cases, edge-case scenarios, and assertions from specs or user stories
AI TESTING SKILLS — WE'LL GROW THESE TOGETHER
We're building our AI testing practice. Prior exposure is a strong plus; we're also open to motivated candidates who want to develop these on the job.
* AI-assisted test generation — using LLMs to auto-generate test cases from specs or user stories
* Self-healing tests — AI locator strategies to reduce flakiness caused by UI changes
* Intelligent failure analysis — AI-powered log triage to classify root causes and reduce noise in reports
* Visual regression testing — AI-based layout diffing tools such as Applitools or Percy
